Matt Maiocco of the Press Democrat is reporting that TE Eric Johnson is set to undergo an MRI due to pain in his knee.
There is concern about the impact the injury will have on the remainder of Johnson’s season. The club believes it is an MCL injury, which is not a significant injury, but something that could take three weeks or so to heal. And with five games remaining in the regular season, the club might have a decision to make.

Awwww poor Eric.

All this guy does, is show up, play hard with soft hands, then comes back to the huddle. No show boating, no complaining. If he could just stay healthy
Maybe they’ll send Vernon Davis into the flat like last week, and get some production out of him. (That or send his speed deep!)

That is just too bad. I really like EJ for his 110% effort. He always catch the ball and keeps trying even after taking a hard hit from the LB. I wish him the best.

That’s what I was thinkin’ Big M. Maybe we’ll see him this week. We could use another good stiff arm run, like in preseason!

damn i forgot all about delanie, has he been inactive this whole time? havent heard his name since the first few games of the season. he should get time with EJ out. Vernon Davis is gonna come out soon. delanie should be on special teams returning stuff cuz he’s big, fast and he can hit, even when hes the ball carrier
