My guess is that Kwame Harris must have pictures of head coach Mike Nolan in a compromising position and is blackmailing him or Adam Snyder must have kicked Nolan’s dog. How else after being humiliated against the Bears can Harris still have the starting right tackle spot. You gotta wonder.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP)—The San Francisco 49ers signed cornerback Donald Strickland on Tuesday, adding another veteran defender to one of the NFL’s worst defenses.
Strickland, a San Francisco native, started 12 games during 2 1/2 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, who waived him last year. He also played three games for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005.
The 49ers waived cornerback B.J. Tucker to make room for Strickland, but the club hopes to sign Tucker to the practice squad Wednesday. San Francisco also re-signed linebacker Renauld Williams to the practice squad and waived kicker Shaun Suisham and tackle Sam Wilder from the practice squad.
