Defensive changes are a coming. Actually a few of them have already started. The game against the Chargers brought an end to Tony Parrish consecutive starting streak, Mark Roman started in his place. Also Ronald Fields got the start over Anthony Adams. Both Adams and Parrish are free agents after this season and all signs point to them not being retained. One other mention in the team shakeup is that when the line is completely healthy Adam Snyder will be competing for both starting tackle positions. As long as Kwame Harris isn’t starting on that line I’m a happy man.

I thank Mr. Parrish for all that he brought to the team over the years but he isn’t the same guy who lead the NFL in interception 3 years ago, it’s time to move on. Who do we get to take his place or is it Roman’s job to keep?

Its about time we cut our loss with kwame harris. he’s the biggest 1st round flop since JJ Stokes. as far as adams and parrish, any change in our defense is a good change.

They can talk about all the player changes they want cuz truth be told i agree with all of them…. but FUCK, this team isnt going to be shit until they get rid of that piece of shit, garbage, loser Billy Davis. after both reading about and watching the game i cant believe that guy is in the nfl!! i could coach the team better. who the FUCK puts TJ Slaughter (for those of you who dont even know who that is i dont blame u) on GATES one on one… WHAT THE HELL

! and things like Hudson one on one with NO HELP on his FIRST play against a guy who is 6’5 225+... im so pissed off i hope that guy falls off the team bus and we never turn back. that game (im not sayin should be a win) but should have been competitive
you can say what u want about us not scoring in the second half but its a lot easier to score when the D doesnt KNOW you have to pass on every down. it fucked up the whole offense.. in conclusion FUCK BILLY DAVIS fall off the damn bus

I know something is wrong when BY, who usually stays positive and does not point fingers says that there were “miscommunication” and “need to be on the same page” or “stick to one front 3-4 or 4-3”. He was either calling out some teamates or the coaches (Davis). Luckily, Nolan has shown tendencies to make changes. We need to address the safety position in the 2nd and 3rd rounds in the draft or for sure in FA. Makes you wonder why didn’t they pull the trigger on FS Ko Simpson in the 3rd Round instead of Brandon Williams.
10 hours after the fact.As far as Kwame Harris, he may not be in the lineup after the bye, the line may be Jennings, Allen, Heitman, Smiley, and Snyder. Hell, use him in the goal-line (they say he is a good run blocker).

I heard there’s a chance that Micheal Lewis wont be resigned and that Sean Consinde will take his place as he did against the saints, and Lewis will be able to be a FA next season.

What do u guys think about laron landry in the draft and try and trade back in the first and get another solid defensive palyer such as patrick willis if we add those two players they bring speed and toughness to the D. I also hear a lot about randy moss wanting to leave oakland I think for all those players they took from us we could take one of theres it might not happen but you can’t never have too much offense. Hey Randy why wear silver when you can wear gold niers all the FUCKIN way

Haha, Ted you are a poet. I agree about Kwame, but I really do not know anything about Billy Davis. The defense is doing horrible, but I think that Davis would be the scapegoat if he gets fired. Mike Nolan has a big hand in the defense, if not as big a hand in Davis. At this point it really is not the coaching, but more the players. The defensive scheme keeps changing and it is messing everything up.
This next draft we need to draft some defensive players. Problem is, this coming draft is primarily composed of offensive talent, not defense. It may be a safe bet to snag a good offensive lineman for depth (How long will Larry Allen be around?) and/or even a right tackle to replace Kwame. We can grab defense in the coming picks, especially with 4 4th round picks with which we can go total defense (if that is smart, anyways.) In addition to drafting, though, (and I know I have said this so many times…) we need to grab proven “big name” free agents. Defensive draft picks develop much more quickly than offensive picks, but still some experienced studs would not only make us better, but help the players behind them become better. It is just a suggestion.
But the draft is a ways away. We have a superbowl to win first….this year….....................ehm, painful humor........................
