Last time we were a superbowl contender was in 1998, last time we were in the playoff was in 2002 if someone will jump in any bandwagon the 49ers would be the last team they will jump on, when you have teams like the patriots that came out no where and won 3 superbowls in the last five years. Haven’t you notice that we are the punch line of the league along with the faiders. 4-12 its not good enough 6-10 its not good enough, the 49ers where an elite franchise for decades and if we have dumb ass like you settling for a mediocre team and coaches things will never change. Look at the moves we made this off season, we could it had Hutchinson from the seachickens if we had throw some money but instead we got Allen who was great 10 years ago, Hutchison is about to reach his prime. We could it try to go after Bentley the best FA available this off season but we settle and gamble for injure prone Newberry who has not play a full season since 2002 and its now in IR. We let Perterson and Carter go that was fine but we never really try to go after of the premier linebacker free agents available when you know our defense suppose to play the 3-4 we let two starters go?, we finally had cap money and we did not get anyone besides Bryant that has made an impact to this team. We went after some crappy FA for the defensive line who did not even made the team.
