Nhat: Thats some funny shit.

Aleck needs to have a good game and that all depends on our O-line and Mr. Gore. If all goes well here our passing game will eat up their DBs, just keep it away from B-Dawk.

We have to contain McNabb and their RBs. They wont run up the gut; we are too good. They are going to have to use their speed.

i agree with mj, next week its gonna be more passing plays than running plays. and nolan is gonna try a reverse i think. probably a gore hand off to battle the either run around or a long pass to davis, bryant, johnson or gore. its gonna be an interesting game to watch. the first real test the niners will face. bootlegs and play action will work against this defense too so i expect lots of that. we want revenge from the last match up. Niners on top !!!

Got VD, you are correct but the Eagles are tough against the run. Even without Kearse, they are a good rush defense. Last year they limited LT to less than 30 yards if memory serves me right, and no runningback has big game against the Eagles. I think we will be seeing some trickery in this game, and the pass game should be established before the run game. Starting off the game with a handoff to Gore is too predictable. I would personally like the first play to be a handoff to Gore for a reverse where he pitches it to Michael Robinson and Robinson throws it deep to Antonio Bryant for a touchdown. That would be a great way to start out the game, haha.

I predict Smith will have over 40 attempts this game. The weakness of the Eagles pass defense is that they can be burned by quick recievers. Bryant get those burners ready. Battle compliments Bryant, as Battle turns short yardage into huge success. VD, just make the catches and all will be well.

They key to next week is frank gore. The reason alex smith is so good is because gore averaging 4 or 5 yards a carry or sumthin like that he has it good.but the first to defenses we played weren't good defenses so playing an top of the line but hurt defense will determine our sucsess...but this 6'6 300 pound tkl/end that's scary we shout give him sum PT to see how he does..

Not just anyone can go to the practice Squad. Green had too much exp for that. Duckett should be interesting as he is a BIG boy. Versatility for 3-4 or 4-3.
I like the 9ers chances next week. With the freak done and NO secondary the Eagles may have a tough time covering people. Pass rush will be key once again.

You can't just demote someone to the practice squad can you? I think they have to first be waived, clear waivers and then re-sign.

Hmmm....I think we should have kept Roderick Green. Well, or at least demote him to practice squad.
