The 20-13 outcome Sunday at Monster Park was more a case of the Rams losing the game than the 49ers winning it. That’s the way a peeved Jimmy Kennedy saw it, anyway.
“We feel that they didn’t earn anything,” said Kennedy, the Rams’ nose tackle. “You have to respect them for the win, but we shot ourselves in the foot.”

The 49ers didn’t earn it? There was no trickery in this match, the 49ers are for real. Kennedy we earned it, you lost, and you are making excuses. You also looked like a girl on the field. Tuck your shit or man up because excuses get you nowhere.

The whole trickery BS from Arizona was such a joke. It’s called creativity. The most dominate 49er teams were known for using trickery. It doesn’t matter though. Let them underestimate us. It’ll make another win that much easier.

i guess you can say every team losses every game because of mistakes.

how about the fact that we fumbled on the 2, or were in the red zone many times with only getting a field goal? Not to mention we’ve beat the lambs 3 times in a row. Boy are we lucky.

The Rams?!
I don’t care what kind of win it is as long as we beat the Rams. Let’s see what their excuses will be later in the season when hand their posteriors to them again.

Ok, Rams so you shot yourself in the foot. They just can’t admit it that the 49ers are getting known as a good tight team and no TO on board anymore.

man what a stupid organization. last time torry holt complained now this loser ? we beet them the last 3 times we played them but its all luck right ? and as for trickery thats bullshit because mike martz allways used trick plays against us too. the patriots were on top for a while and they used trick plays (see vinateiri touchdown pass) this is just a loser trying to play off the fact that we kicked their ass. they had 250 yards of total offense. man are we lucky they didnt feel like playing good football. bunch of losers we beat the rams twice in our sorriest state last year and they tried to brush it off like it was a fluke. how many more flukes do we have to get on them before they just treat it like a regular loss and stop making stupid excuses. damn , i hate the rams

I like how teams make excuses now after we beat them or play them real close. It’s like we’re not supposed to be good, no matter what. Well, it’s a new season and the Rams and Cardinals both aren’t as good as everybody thinks they were going to be. On the other hand, we are looking MUCH better than the “experts” were predicting. Did anybody notice how all of the analysts who do their picks on ESPN.com all picked the Rams last week? HA. I imagine they’ll all be picking the Eagles as well. To hell with them

I agree. Almost the entire world is underestimating this team, and perhaps that is just it. The team is growing and learning, but perhaps part of the “success” so far this team is because others underestimate them.
In any case, a win is a win in the NFL. The experts may think twice about picking against the 49ers again this week. The Eagles defense is reeling after some injury blows to the defense (see Kearse and Wood). This game may turn out to be an offensive shootout, similar to the one the team played in Week 1.
Go Niners!

I think we`ll be dealing with lame excuses for most of the season, because we`re completely unhyped.
This has nothing to do with this story, it`s a draft hindsight study, that some of you may find interesting
