But anyway what we had like five or six sacks and we didn't get no love like the bills or the eagles or who ever was up there in sacks. I kept telling people that Smith was gonna be the MAN with a little protection!! I was in Eugene Oregon when Harrington was there and I have no doubt that Smith is a far superior passer. Fact of the matter is the guy can play! BTW Vernon Davis, Gore, Harris(great game sunday), Lawson, and of course A. Bryant, the whole O-line, the defense!!! How about Chad Williams!! hope we get Jennings and B.Y. Back soon!! SMITH AND THE NINERS ARE ON THE WAY TO THE TOP (where the Niners belong!)..... With him in the backfield, and Smith-to-Bryant getting better, the offense has gone from nightmare-to-watch to edge-of-your-seat-exciting. The defense was really solid against a Rams offense that was touted at the beginning the season to be "back" and was expected to breakout this past week. It was a good game. Very good.
