Great win!!! Can't wait to see the highlights... Please post them soon. I did not watch the game, I'm in San DIego but if we continue to play like this I think we'll end up on Sunday Night Football.... I'm just looking at the stats but I'm going to say this if we can't re-sign Erick Johnson before week five, I think we should put him on the trade block and get the most we can for him, I doubt that he will sign with us anyways and alex doen't seem to look his way and in the end it wil be better for VD it will give him confidence like the trade of Barlow was for Gore... Bryant is a STUD!!! he will have better stats than T.O. and did you all see Lloyd do crap for the Redskins....HAHA we really put one over the Redskins, Can someone explain what was Bryant bitching about!!! Next week will be a true test of how far we have come along....Go NINERS...

Martz was an alright coach with great talent on offense. Vermeil is like Clinton, they're not great because of the things they personally did, they were great for knowing how to get the great people around them and then not stepping on their toes and telling them what to do.

49ers real test is next week, that game will determine whether they have the ability to at least be involved in the playoff hunt.

I personally feel the 49ers match up better against the "new" Rams who want to run run run than the rams who want to pass pass pass. The 49ers D can plug the run up pretty well, but if a team really wants to throw every down against the 49ers they will carve 'em up.

A team like philly is a great test, they will throw throw throw. I'm glad it's at home. As the Eagles will be down after last week, without Kearse, and flying across country.

What the hell am I saying, no it was Vermeil. Still, Martz was a good coach. He got them to the superbowl against the Patriots. Martz over Nolan anyday. (Hahaha, I bet that got to ya.)

No no, like I said I will not criticize Nolan. (Try not to criticize him.) It is time to watch the Niners play.

Damn it Dave, do you ever agree with me? Martz was a freakin' great coach. If I am not mistaken, he has won a superbowl? But then again, you probably were not a dan of Mariuchi either seeing how you enjoy the Nolan philosophies..........no, must wait.....till offseason..........aaaaaaagghhhhhh...

I honestly thought Martz was a terrible coach. He was all about trying to draft offense, offense, offense and ignore the defense while he tries to mismanage his probowl/potential HOF running back in Marshall Faulk, only to try and score points through the air.

I was really sad to see Martz leave, because I think he would have only led to a further demise of this team. Remember that the Rams really haven't done much since Vermiel left them.

"THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF?" Ha, no more. We are all witnessing the collapse of the St. Louis Rams. Their firing Mike Martz seems oftly familiar to our firing Steve Mariuchi. The Mike Martz offense is gone, and the 49ers have put them Rams in their places.

Eagles, you're next!

gman1959 you stupid fuck, you don't know shit. get the fuck off this website and never come back. how the fuck are you gonna say the 9ers are far from being a good team? are you that fuckin stupid? did you miss the last 2 games? we could easily be 2-0 right now numnuts. we might not be a super bowl caliber team right now, but we definately ain't no push overs. i think after today a lot of folks will stop takin the 9ers so lightly. i guarenteed gore would break 1000 yards this season as long as he was healthy and it looks like it will be done by week 11-12 the way he is going. so gman take your bitch ass negativity else where and eat a dick coward.

The 49er are far from being a good team. Certainly not a playoff team. A good season for them is to continue to improve and end the season with a better record than the Raiders.
