The St. Louis Rams are headed to San Francisco this weekend, and the early line has the Rams favored by Jeff Wilkins. I’ll say it right now, the 49ers need to some how get in contact with Tonya Harding and see if she can hook them up with Jeff Gillooly and Shawn Eckhardt to somehow take Wilkins out of commission. If no response from them maybe they could contact William Zabka and have him sweep the leg.

Or hire the backup punter from that colorado school to go all knifey knifey on wilkins leg.
Niners D could actually be helped out this week by the new Rams Running phillosphy. Could help slow down bulger/holt/bruce that usually torches the secondary into a fine crisp.
This is a pretty huge game in the scope of the season as I feel the niners, even at home, will have a very hard time defeating the Eagles. The eagles just matchup very well in nearly every regard.
But a win here, with winnable games at KC without green, and at home for Oakland, could give the season some actual hope. ( As you can see I’m still in the strange land where I still believe it’s physically possible for all teams to make the playoffs, made this mistake last year too =o) ).
That being said, I’d still rather the team play like they have nothing to lose and not go all “manage the game and win 9-7” crap that some coaches do as it will totally prevent any growth on the young skill players.

regardless of how probable or improbable it would be for the niners to make the playoffs, i’m sure they’re not talking about winning at least 6-9 games…i think they’re talking about going 15-1 now. i believe the niners will stay competitive in every single game this year and that means we’ll be in reach of a victory in every game, so never say never…am i being optimistic and maybe a little biased? possibly, but come on…we don’t want an “improved” team, we want a winning team and we’re beginning to see flashes of that…man i can’t wait to watch alex smith tear up that rams D, Bryant and V.Davis will have a huge day, and i think our defense will play a little better considering we’re at home
