Veteran guard Larry Allen suffered a sprained MCL in the early portion of Sunday’s win, and will miss anywhere from 2-4 weeks.
Further diminishing the offensive line’s depth, tackle Jonas Jennings is also doubtful for this Sunday after suffering both an ankle sprain and shoulder injury. Adam Snyder will fill in for Allen, unless Jennings can’t go as well. In that case, Snyder will play tackle while Tony Wragge will take over at guard.
“The first one to go in is Adam Snyder,” Nolan said. “But if both (Snyder and Wragge) have to go in, Adam Snyder could very likely be the tackle. We’ll just have to wait and see who’s up and who’s down.”

Hey what the hell is going on with Bass, wasnt he the FIRST pick of the second round, and a former national offensive lineman of the year award winner in college. i thought this guy was a beast, now he isnt even in the running for a spot in the lineup, whats going on there??? and i still think snyder should be in over douchebag Harris anyway cuz he is our next best tackle but can he really play guard too??? i just hope our O-line injuries dont mess up how well our offense is running right now.

Never fear, if Jennings doesnt play either, then hopefully Nolan will be smart enough to put Baas and Snyder on the left side. Will still have a great chance to win.

Nolan stated that Snyder is the backup to both T spots while Wragge is the backup to both G spots. Meaning, Baas’s only spot is center. AKA total BS on Nolan’s part.
But, I honestly think Nolan is a cunning guy. He will state one thing, but then he will flip flop hoping it will ruin the other team’s gameplan. For example, Brandon Moore was supposed to be an ILB, but guess what, he was an OLB for the Cards game.
I wouldn’t put a lot of faith in Nolan’s words. I feel Baas will be the LG starter while Jennings and Snyder will rotate at the LT spot.

Ted Bundy, I am perhaps the person most critical of Mike Nolan. Coming out of preseason and after enduring last season, I did not like him. However, season has started now and since what we say is irrelevant now, we should give Mike Nolan a chance. Yes, Nolan did say we would use a power running game against Arizona and NO he did not lie. The run was working great until we had those 2 interceptions. After that, we passed to get back into the game…...and we did. Frankly, I hope Smith throws 40 times next week and the week after that! It more good experience (to add to last year’s experience) and after that first touchdown to Vernon Davis on the FIRST DRIVE, I think confidence was instilled in the second year #1 overall 2005 draft choice.
We are going to get them Rams fellas. Get’em good.
