LB Larry Allen (L knee) sustained a sprain to his medial-collateral ligament. He left Sunday’s game after five plays and did not return. He is expected to miss at least a couple weeks, but the 49ers are awaiting the results from an MRI exam. He is listed as doubtful.LT Jonas Jennings (R ankle) sustained a high ankle sprain just before the half against the Cardinals. He missed two series but came back into the game. He is listed as doubtful.
TE Vernon Davis (L hip) left the game for five plays to get some treatment in the locker room. Those were the only five offensive snaps of the game that Davis did not play. He is probable.
TE Delanie Walker (R shoulder) sustained a separation in the final exhibition game Sept. 1 and is expected to miss a few more weeks. He did not suit up for Sunday’s game.
LB Parys Haralson (L foot) has been out since sustaining a foot strain Aug. 15. He has returned to limited work during practice, but does not take part in team drills. Coach Mike Nolan expects Haralson to be able to play in perhaps the third game of the season.

Man, why couldn’t Kwame have gotten all 5 of those injuries himself. Maybe even an additional broken neck or something. Why is it always the good players that get hurt and the dookie stains live on? Damnit

This will keep L.Allen fresh for the stretch run. Parys will be interesting coming off the edge on 3rd and long, a situation we’ve struggled in. Also jakked to see what Delanie can bring to our offense, another big fast set of hands can’t hurt. He was our most productive player in the preseason in my opinion.

Larry Allen is probably the best linebacker on the team….whoever wrote this should have checked before sending it in because, im pretty sure Larry Allen is a guard.

Nobody would wanna go over the middle if Larry Allen was the linebacker hitting them. Man… That would be brutal.
