i think WR cory rodgers might’ve been a smart pickup, he was an early 4th rd pick by green bay. i don’t think we needed to add anyone else on the O-line, and I hope that DT we signed who was released by NYG is better at run-stopping than the rest of our D-line (minus b.young). but for the most part, it’s just a bunch of new no-namers trying to make a name for themselves and a 2nd chance with another team.

Very interested in that guy Mincey n anybody here know his background. Since why would a good team like Patriot gave up their 6th round pick of this year , unless there is some health problem . Otherwise, how can you evaluate a raw talent in just 1 camp.

some one tell me why does’nt david baas get playing time at LG is he hurt.if not he should be playing and snyder should replace kwame soft harris at RT position.kwame soft harris is the only clear weakness on the OL.news flash’ everyone is always talking about the players the 49ers don’t have at the skill positions’ but the truth is playoff offenses have playoff OL.when you see a QB with bad numbers look deeper and you will see a nonexsisting running attack that stems from run blocking that is not physical’and bad pass protection also from bad OL play.

i agree with harris not being the player we thought he would be, but to say we have no OL is absurd…our backs were averaging 4-6 yrds per carry in the preseason, and u can say “it’s only preseason, doesn’t count” but when u have guys fighting for a starting job on a team where if ur not a “nolan guy” ur expendable, i think we’ve been doing a fantastic job on the O-line
but yes we can definitely use an upgrade @ that RT position…and for god’s sake, can we get some help on that D-line already?? come on, nolan! don’t wait til next year’s draft to improve our defense…we’re just gonna have a bunch of inexperienced rookies and we want playoff contention NOW!

yea, you cant say our oline sucks. all the running backs look good. but alex smith sucks ass. takes like 10 seconds to make a decision. he’ll either throw a 2 yard bomb or run out of bounds.
