The niners signed dumane duckett(DT), jeremy mincey(3-4 OLB), and cory rodgers(WR) to the practice squad. This proves we're going 3-4 on defense.

Did you see the heart transition into Lee before he pinned it inside the 5? And guys, of course Smith wasn't in this clip. This is a HIGHLIGHT clip.

Great game, nice highlights. Of course you had to put some Andy Lee in there, I know he's your boy Erickson.

Everyone besides Alex Smith & Verron Davis looked great. We seemed to do a lot better with Lawson lined up as a defensive end, coming off the edge. That's what I was hoping we would do with him in the first place. Linebackers don't have to do so much when your D-line is kicking ass.

damn michael robinson looks more like a fullback. he lowers his shoulders and breaks tackles. a runningback usually uses his quickness and agility. mike alstott = michael robinson

ted berkowitz, you are the man. I am right there with you. I may not make every game in person, but what I miss in person I will catch on the tube in cheering my team on from start to finish. I may have my reservations, but when the season starts all of that does not matter. All that matters is supporting our team. My last post may indicate I am not "rollin' with Nolan," but I am a die hard 49er fan who will yell his lungs out in support of the team at every game I attend, hold his breath for every pass that is thrown, and dance like I won the lotto for every touchdown we score. GO NINERS!!

Mr. Lombardi, good observation but I wish this clip would show Smith's first drive. It would show you why those incompletions were incomplete. Smith looked horrible in this game. So horrible, actually, that it was cut out of this clip! It is as simple as that.

Simon, Mark Clayton also praised Coach Erickson when he was our coach (before the team went to hell at his hands) because of Erickson's accomplishments in college football and his somewhat success with the Seahawks in the early 90's. I personally do not like Nolan, and I think his philosophies deter players from wanting to come play for the 49ers. If our season is a bust, I hope his ass gets fired.

By John Clayton, ESPN.com
"The team is in good hands with Nolan. He's a bright coach and seems to have a good plan in trying to rebuild the team. The only problem is the level of talent following the Donahue years."

This is one of the truest thimgs i have ever read. This is for all those haters knocking Nolan and saying we should pay for a "supposed play-off contender team".
Get a fucking clue man! The shit doesn't happen over night! Especially not with the train wreck left by our previous "management".
