I think MJ is an idiot. I always see his posts on here trashing Alex Smith and anyone who knows football knows MJ is an idiot. How can you expect Alex Smith to be an all-pro in his second year? He is still the youngeset starting QB in the league. Look at Eli's stats last year and he has weapons all over the place on that offense.

Anyways, I had posted a long message for MJ on a previous post before and I forgot to put those dumbass numbers in and it deleted it and I wasnt about to retype everything, but I just saw him put in another retarded post saying the same thing he always does. I hope he's just a kid or something cuz if hes not, he's a douche.

We'll get to the big game within 3 years.

Ill say this everyone says Smith sucks and had a bad game. COME ON YALL it was just preseason. Who cares, I want Dilfer to be our starter as well but look at it. Yeah he did good in the last game, and was on the niners 2nd string offense like MJ says, but hey MJ, was he playing against the opponent first string defense? NOOOOO, and Shaun Hill played against the third string defense, so lets not get ahead of ourselves. REmember if the niners have a great year, its because of Smith's improvement and if we have another first overall pick, its because Smith flatout can play. But lets just see what the future holds.
About Michael Robinson, yeah great game against The Chargers. But did he crack the second string spot over Mo Hicks? Yeah just ask yourself that. Ill say this Delanie Walker looks awsome. I hope faggot Nolan puts him ahead of Bryan Gilmore on the WR depth chart.
But I would love for the Niners to sign Charles Rogers, but like MJ said he might not be a NOlan Guy.
That is all for now the professor has spoken.

Gold Finger I agree with you on having Jacobs as are number 3, he impressed me. As for Rogers, I say why not we need all the help we can get right?

MJ, not making excuses for Smith. I'm saying that he doesn't handle pass rush too well. Unless he has a line that keeps him protected incredibly well, he gets flustered and looks awful. I do think Dilfer would be better in there this year, but as long as we're still rebuilding, might as well see what Smith can do now. If we sit him all year, we may not know he's a bust until a couple years from now... at a time when the team needs a good QB to be a contender. No matter how much we all try to convince ourselves, with Payton Manning in there, this team is still no Super Bowl team by a long shot.

Naa, forget Pinkston. After last night though, I do want Dilfer to be the starting quarterback and Taylor Jacobs to be our #3 reciever over Gilmore. Us 49er fans have not been getting what we want the last few seasons, so I doubt it. We will wait and see.

Baaqi, I could not have said it better. You hit the nail on the head.

ddsaffd your words are true as well. Dilfer and Hill had the same protection as Alex Smith if not worst. Smith thus far has been a bust. And please, PLEASE, remember this is not his rookie year people! Baaqi said the situation best. Stupid cap hits.

As for Rogers, sorry fellas but he is not a "Nolan Guy." I would like to see him on our team, but what can we do.
