We removed a piece of dead roster space and picked up someone that could potentially start. The competition in camp is no doubt pushing Sammy Davis, which is what I think his problem was in San Diego. He was thrusted into the starting role 3 years ago when the Chargers started 3 rookies in their secondary (I believe), and he was never challenged since. Hopefully theres nothing other than good news the rest of the way for him, as I think he has a ton of potential. Nolan acquiring Davis for Woods was one of the better moves of the offseason.
