I'm just hoping the team stays healthy because we have a good team (when healthy, which is never)...A winning record this year should be very very possible.

Nice article Crack... I enjoyed the read.

I don't believe Tom Malone is on the team as a punter anymore though... I could be wrong, but I think he was cut when we picked up Rouen!

The wide receiver break down is wrong. Brandon Williams beats out Gilmore who already has a rapport with Coach Sullivan, Mcaddley who has a rapport with Alex Smith, and Derrick Hamilton who is in his "put up or shut up" year? No way. I hope Williams becomes the real deal, but his senior year press release has him listed as 5-11, 175 pounds. He's not heavy enough to take a hit in the NFL yet. Needs a year in the weight room and watching from the sidelines.

sammy davis will be more in the mix to start than people give him credit for. he was a starter before coming to the niners, which we can't really say for the other CBs.

i think that alex smith vs. trent dilfer may be a problem later in the season if alex plays as horribly as he did last year.

barlow will do good behind our improved o-line. last time we had a line waz in 03. he shined that year. he is a big RB and can help us running up the middle behind our good o-line.

i'll go with DJ at CB over harris. isn't harris old and just in there for depth? I like what DJ did against the raiders in preseason. any player that kicks raider-ass should be a niner
