Newb needs all the off-field time he can get. This gives us pretty good depth... if a guard gets hurt we'll have smiley or baas on backup. If 2 guards get hurt we move Eric over and put Newb at center. Now if we only had depth at the tackle posistion =( If Jennings or Snyder get hurt we'll have a lot of problems. Very good move. It really isn't a surprise to use Heitman at center. Let Baas and Smiley battle it out for the other guard position and hope Snyder beats out Harris.
