NO ONE knows what this team is capable of achieving this season, not the negative FUCK analysts, not the faithful, not Nolan or the players, not even the underground Raider fan Ted Bundy... Thats what makes the anticipation heading into this season so intriging. We very well could be a playoff team as well we could be a sub 500. team, but I have to say with what Nolan has brought to this team, from the new very solid players to the key players we get back from injuries and the drafted talent even the coaching staff, this team is night and day from last year.... Also to the ones who think Alex Smith is a bust, why dont you take a closer look to last seasons stats and find from start one to his last you will find a steady improvment in his numbers. Not to mention the kids mental make-up and his physical tools we havent even begun to see what he can really do.... Not saying were going to the superbowl next year but very excited to start proving mother fuckers wrong!

I have butterflies in my stomach I am so excited to see how much better our team has improved. I'm not saying we are going to the SuperBowl; but we ARE a much better team now.

Nice sarcasm. But I wouldn't count us out until you at least see some pre-season games or something. I do think that the squad is a lot better than last year. I don't really care for what haters and magazines say about the team, we haven't even played a game yet and people try to judge us. Haters, stop hating. Only a month until we prove these bitches wrong.

This team isn’t going to the playoffs this season so why not help move alex along.

what's up? we're going to the playoffs this year and maybe even the superbowl. we are unstoppable.. think about it... vernon davis, alex smith, manny lawson, kevan barlow, larry allen, isaac sopoaga, corey smith, and mike adams(best FS in NFL IMHO)

It's totally ludicrous to even think that Dilfer has a shot to beat out Smith this camp. He has the ability to, but he still won't. Nolan won't repeat last season when Rattay straight up beat Smith out. u know?

I would agree with Craig. If the niners played the best QB I doubt Smith would have taken any snaps last year or the next couple of years for that matter. They just need to play him no matter what so there are no excuses one or two years from now on whether he was given enough chances.

If the offensive line doesn't suffer 20 injuries alex should start no matter how well dilfer does. This team isn't going to the playoffs this season so why not help move alex along.
