Because pundits think that Julian Peterson and Andre Carter were a major part of the niners D. They think Brandon Lloyd is a quality WR. They also think that just because Alex Smith at 21 had a horrid rookie season with a awful o-line and no weapons except Gore that he will end up being a bust(who also didnt have a TE who could catch because Johnson was out). Lets recap here….

WR/TEs= improved
RBs= improved
O-Line= improved
DL= jury is out
LBs= lost two vets but got two LBs in the draft who are able to replace them and if we get Brooks in the supp draft then consider it an upgrade.
DBs= upgraded in terms of depth.

They are also calling us the laughing stock still based on the team’s performance last season(most of the starts at QB were by guys who arent even on the team last season and most of the D was injured). So please feel free to go in a dryer with magic johnson and 1000 razor blades.
