EZE…yes he was looking to be the #3, but he injured himself. You are correct. I just love how I seen where Hamilton gets a pass, where Woods didn’t. And the only difference was their draft position. I’d love for Hamilton to live up to his potential, but I don’t think he will.

honestly, i wasn’t really thinking when i wrote that. it was kinda late at night. there really isn’t any difference i just wasn’t sure whether Hamilton had been injured the whole time he’s been with us or not. I thought last year he was supposed to be like our No. 3 receiver but then he got hurt or something in training camp? I don’t know if that’s correct or not but that’s kinda what made me think we should keep him a little longer. Then again, I could be 100% wrong

EezyE…how is cutting Hamilton any different than getting rid of Woods. Only thing that seperated them was where they were drafted. Both have been injured, and both have basically done jackshit.

We took Hamilton in the 3rd round so I doubt we act too quickly to cut him. He may not make the team, but there’s no rational reason for cutting him ASAP. If everybody is worried about “wasting” a 2nd or 3rd round pick on Brooks in the supplemental draft, then everybody should also be worried about cutting Hamilton right away. To my knowledge, he has not had any significant playing time due to injuries. Now, if he has been healthy and just can’t cut it, then forget everything I said in this comment and cut his ass

Big Ham is one of thoes “huge upside” type players. Hopefully he can get his act together and actually contribute this year.
