I jumped so high up in the air with happiness when I thought we had acquired Javon Walker. My faith in Mike Nolan was almost restored there because frankly I have come to really dislike him over the free agency period. As our luck would have it the whole thing was a scam. Man I just did not think that was funny because I believed it for at least an hour. One my buddies called me to tell me about it too, I that is just depressing. I hope we still do get him, personally (and I know many will disagree, which is cool) I would take him over any second rounder if that what is needed to get him. Javon is payed less money than Rashaun Woods and would immediately eclipse Bryant for the #1 role. There would be competition and that would be awesome. Imagine getting Walker for a 3rd rounder, should we be so lucky (and we have two third round picks FYI) and then get Vernon Davis. Oh man it would be awesome! Sure we still would lack defense but the draft is full of defensive positions. Our weakness the last 2 years has been the O-Line and its bulked by Allen. Getting Davis and Walker would make us legit I would think so long and we draft defense the rest of the draft. But hell everything I wanted to happen this offseason hasn't (except the Larry Allen signing) so what the hell do I know. Man that shit was not funny.
