This is one of the deepest TE classes in years. Davis has the potential to be a superstar, but the Niners could pick up a very good TE in the second round. I think they will go with Huff, and possibly pick up Fasano (Notre Dame) in the second round.

If 4 int’s in 4 years is the case, then I’d pass on him at #6. Nothing improves your DB’s more than having a pass rush….trading down and getting Broderick Bunkley as a DE in the 3-4 might be a good call. B.Y. is not getting any younger….and if Bunkley’s not around Chad Greenway would be solid as a OLB. I think both could be around in the teen picks.

i don’t like huff at #6. he’s not a playmaker (only 4 INTs as a four year starter! very lame). maybe if we trade down but if we stay at #6 then let’s take someone with playmaking ability, I’m hoping for 1)super mario 2) hawk or 3) davis. if none of them are around trade back and then maybe take huff. the 4 INTs in four years for a very good team really bothers me, anyone else?

I would deffinitley be excited if we picked michael huff, and think he should be a corner. As long as we get either Huff, Hawk, or VD..

I think Hawk and Super Mario will be gone by #6, VD is the man if we stay put….I agree we could likely get Huff at #10 or so if we trade down. What do you guys think about trading up and giving the 3rd or 4th that we got for Lloyd to get Williams or Hawk….not likely, but you never know!

Because Johnson is under contract for one more year. No reason to release Johnson. I see them running lots of 2 TE sets, with the TE’s being Davis & Johnson. If you release Johnson, and draft Davis. You still have crap for your other TE’s.

If the 49ers we’re going to draft V.Davis they would have released johnson by now, why would they pay him and draft an instant starter? I think they are looking at Hawk, Huff, or trade.

I wouldn’t mind Huff but not at #6. I believe the team could still trade down a bit and pick him up. My choices in this order are 1. Davis 2. Hawk 3. Williams 4. Huff
