Regarding Mario Williams, I dont think we´re going to go so high DE. Remember that on our system the key position is LB. DE need to be stable, so LB is a bigger prority. I expect a trade with denver using the 3rd rounder we got from Washington and maybe our 4th rounder to get Denver´s 29th. We have the cash, and Denver has the need. We can easily afford another first rounder to cover key areas after we pick Hawk at 6th (such as CB or WR). I agree that the OL is not one of the top three priorities.

Wouldn't it be lovely if the niners got JP back then signed Boulware, then picked up Mario Willaims in the draft, talk bout beefy D. It's definately possible but I'm almost sure the niners won't make that happen, but then again they did say they were interested in Boulware.

I agree as well. IF the Niners can reel JP back, it would soften their position at #6. They wouldn't feel a dire need to draft one particular position, but rather, leave themselves open to find the best talent at one of their "need" positions.

I like AJ Hawk, but I still would rather see the Niners draft someone like Huff... a versatile DB, big, strong, fast. Hopefully he falls down to #6.

i agree, we need at least one more playmaker in fa...but there is not much more available to choose from. hopefully we get JP back and that solves the problem so we draft more for ability rather than need at #6...while AJ Hawk is a great LB, i'd rather the niners take him because they feel he is the best player available at #6 rather than because they are short at LB

Yeah I think we got a good deal in return. Lloyd is a good receiver, but I think Nolan had a plan when he gave Lloyd away. Draft picks and getting Antonio Bryant was a big boost. Now we need to grab another playmaker or two in FA
