My take on the FA and Draft:

JP - is gone, to expensive. Get Boulware instead.
Regarding OF line, we have good youn talent, let them develop.
TE - Shea is OK as back up for EJ, if EJ prooves himself this year re-sign him next year.
DB - We do need to get someone there, hoping for Clements but his tagged, Woodson would be OK for the right price. Or a decent safety, maybe Tank Williams.

Draft
1st - AJ Hawk LB
2nd round - Sinorice Moss WR

We could also trade for Denver's 29th pick overall with our 3 & 4 rounders. Trading next years picks is out of the question.

Niners should get:

TE - Jeb Putzier
CB - Clements or Dyson
LB - Draft AJ Hawk, Boulware for mentoring
WR - trade extra 3rd to GB for Walker, draft Maurice Stovall

Aron Shea is not the answer and getting older is absolutly the wrong direction to go in. Win multiple championships do blow your wade for one.

sinorice moss is going in the first round. what we really need is o-line. If we can get marcedes lewis in the second round that would be good though.

Thats fine and all (about having EJ) but the problem is his contract is up next year. And chances are he will be gone (unless he takes a huge pay cut). VD is in perfect shape to start today. He is what 6'3 3/4 and he is only 20 (I think, maybe 21) he has good hands and he isn't as bad a blocker as people say he is. He likes to block, he enjoys it. And will only improve at it. I say first trade a 3rd or 4th pick to GB for Walker, then sign TANK Williams, next offer our next years 1st round pick (since it will most likely be an early pick, if it ends up being a mid to late round pick next year then give them a compensation 3rd or 4th) to denver for both their 1st round picks (since they want to trade them both for lack of cap space). Then pick up VD with our 6th pick, Lawson with the 22nd, and Hill, or Carpenter, or Mangold with the 29th

I say with that team we make the playoffs, but since it makes too much sense I don't think we will do it.
