Linebacker Brandon Moore was courted by several teams, including the Houston Texans, but admitted Thursday he always wanted to remain a 49er.

“There were some teams that were interested in me, and I’d always go back to my agent and say, ‘What are the 49ers going to do?’ ” said Moore, who signed a five-year, $8 million deal. “You don’t always get in the situation where you love everyone around you. ... That is where this organization is right now.”
