He hasn't been seen much in his NFL career, but I remember him playing for Alabama. He was on the SEC championship team with Shaun Alexander and was really a solid player. Moore (6-1, 242) is entering his fifth NFL season. He spent his first three NFL seasons as a top backup linebacker and key special teams player before stepping into a starting role last season when he replaced inside linebacker Jeff Ulbrich after he was placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury. He started in 10 games and finished the season second on the team with 93 tackles (59 solo) and five sacks. Moore’s five sacks ranked fifth among all NFC linebackers. Moore originally joined San Francisco as a rookie free agent out of Oklahoma in 2002. Moore was waived by the 49ers prior to the start of the regular season and spent two weeks on the New England Patriots practice squad before being signed to the 49ers 53-man roster.
