Yeez… are we going to have a 104 player roster with all the money we’re holding right now. Has there been a rule change and nobody told me that whatever you dont use this year we can use next year. MAN PLEASE IM A LITTLE PISSED OF RIGHT NOW? WHO’S LEFT?

wtf!! why did we sign Gilmore. there had to be a more productive wr in the free agent market that we could have picked up.

You basically can use all the money you’ve got left over from this year next year. It’s called cap credits from unlikely to be earned incentives.

actually i think the rule is that when you have an incentive that is likely to be earned, it is counted against the cap in that year…but if for whatever reason the player doesn’t earn the incentive, the team is credited whatever amount was charged to the cap in the previous year…therefore, if we have cap space unassigned, or unspent, we do not get it back on future years

Is our FO setting up meeting or are they just winging it? We didn’t even get a chance to entertain Hope’s Offer.

Hey Erickson do you know if the 49ers are interested in TANK Williams.
Gilmore actually contacted the 49ers, cause he wanted to play for Sulivan again. So expect him to keep resigning as long as Sulivan is a coach.

49ers | Team visits with Shea
Wed, 15 Mar 2006 23:18:19 -0800
Dennis Georgatos, of the Mercury News, reports the San Francisco 49ers visited with free agent TE Aaron Shea (Brown) Wednesday, March 15.
Do you think he is as good as signed?
8 hours after the fact.Andre said:
He’s a decent TE…he wuld fit well in our offense…hes a good option if eric johnson decides to re-injury himself again…this could go a number of ways if we decide to take TE Vernon Davis because of Eric Johnson’s injury prone or LB A.J Hawk depending on if Julian Peterson signs

if jp signs why not take hawk. in a 3-4 having that lb core would be amazing, throw in smith and thats the start of a real solid D.
