Does Gilmore got wheels? Faster than Battle? It doesn't matter because Vernon Davis is gonna be our 3rd WR, or maybe Eric? Was a WR @ Yale, could be slot receiver. What's the depth chart look like now? And we had no room 4 Rice?? not even 4 a retirement in niner glory like he deserve's? hmmm.... TRADE 4 RAY LEWIS!!!!

This is great for us! Brandon Moore is a great pickup. He is a great tackler and was second on the team in sacks with 6. Chris Hope would be a welcome addition as well. He could fill the FS spot for us. He is a good tackler as well and he has great range as well. That would be a great pickup. Come on Nolan! Keep it comin'.

Full Name: Bryan Gilmore
Born: January 21, 1978
Lufkin, TX
Height: 6-0
Weight: 193 lbs. Age: 28
Pos: WR
Experience: 5 years
College: Midwestern State
Insider Analysis
Grade 63
Expert's Take Gilmore has marginal size for the position. He has very good foot quickness and he has decent speed although he lacks the top end speed to enable him to be a consistent vertical threat. He has a good surge off the line of scrimmage and it doesn't take him long to reach his top speed. He is an excellent route runner who is quicker than he is fast. He shows a good burst out of his routes and he can get separation from a defender. He has a good feel for attacking coverages and he is able to find the open areas in zone coverage and he shows that he has the ability to move a defender in man coverage. He has very good body control and change of direction skills and he has excellent ball skills. He can make the catch with his hands away from his body and he is not afraid to go after the ball over the middle. He is not a threat to go the distance after the catch but he can generally make the first tackler miss and he shows good elusiveness with the ball in his hands. He lacks strength and he is not a physical blocker however he does an adequate job of getting position to screen a defender from the play. Overall he is a number three or number four receiver on this roster and he makes a significant contribution on special teams.
