Yea Carter is better off in a 4-3 playing DE. But he's the kind of guy u like to have around, very interlectual. I wish him well, whats up with Wash.?
guess that CBA worked out great 4 them.

Niners tried re-signing Carter but his asking price was too high.

I'm sad to see Carter go too, but for $5 mil a year and considering his performance the past 2 years, the Redskins can have him.

You are also forgetting that this draft is deep in LBs. We dont have to draft a LB in the first round. We could still walk away with Mario Williams or Vernon Davis in the first round.

Many draft experts have considered this LB draft to be solid and atleast 4 rounds deep. We have 5 picks in the first 4 rounds, and that's if we don't trade down.

this is not a good sign for us. letting go of carter is one of the worst moves we have made in the offseason. This means we only have 2 quality linebackers in d. smith and j. ulbrich. although we still have a small shot at getting j.p. back, that doesn't look good. we have basically forced ourselves to draft a.j. hawk. not that there is nething bad about the player, but he doesn't seem like a 3-4 line backer. also, we are now unable to look at vernon davis or chad jackson to help our recieving core. i really hope we land givens or moulds.
